John W. Spillane 1932-2007


John W. Spillane began his law practice on Main Street in Worcester in 1957. He practiced law for a period of 50 years until his death in 2007. He served many individuals, families and businesses over the course of his professional career. He was a keen student of the law and jurisprudence and loved his profession. He was a great orator who advocated on behalf of his clients in all of the Courts of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He developed a business that spanned multiple generations of clients. His example of advocacy and loyalty to his clients inspired his sons to join his beloved profession and he taught them how to serve client interests with compassion, efficiency and effectiveness. His special talents combined with his devotion to the law and his empathy for others served as a great inspiration and example for many of his clients and fellow attorneys.

He is remembered as a great lawyer and community leader, endowed with a spirit of generosity and concern for others.
